Spandakārikā by Vasugupta and Bhatta Kallata, 9th Century - Kashmir Vasugupta and Bhatta Kallata (9th Century) from Kashmir are the authors of famous Spandakārikā.
For me, the Shiva Mahimna Stotram is a necklace of pearls. It is the first text I was introduced to in my childhood, when I learned to play it on the harmonium in the Siddha Yoga Center in Ghoti. Gradually, I became more focused on the correct pronunciation of the text. Its beautiful rhythms are now fully settled deep in my heart. Even when I start humming the melody, I hear the complete Shiva Mahimna Stotram—as though the words are already vibrating in my heart. While reciting it, I feel that I am both the reciter and the listener. Each time I recite the text, it is as if I am collecting a pearl.
Thank you, Gurumayi ji, from the deepest core of my heart. A Siddha Yogi from Ghoti, India.
